Alternative Energy Funding

Renewable Energy Funding offers renewable energy financing and specializes in alternative energy funding to generate new power sources. We have working relationships with wealthy individuals and renewable energy vcs from Dubai to New York and have renewable energy funding available for your project.

Oil & Gas Financing

Our background IS in oil and gas financing before we entered into renewable energy funding so we enjoy looking at financing oil and gas projects worldwide including oil exploration funding, refinery financing, distribution funding. pipeline funding. And offers first, interim and final funding.

Renewable Energy Funding

We are interested in alternative energy funding projects. In general, our private equity fund has three main criteria:

1. The project must already be active;

2. The market fundamentals for the project are sound;

3. The development team has a significant financial stake in the project and has experience

developing the type of project contemplated. Click here to learn about our fees.

Renewable Energy Financing

Virtually all types of alternative energy (solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, biomass, waste conversion, etc.).

What is our typical financing structure? Our renewable energy financing is 100% joint venture equity financing. In so doing, we cover 100% of the costs associated with land acquisition, development costs, construction costs and equipment costs for the real estate development opportunity. There is no interest charged for the investment.

Your Questions About [alternative Energy, Bio Diesel, solar Power]

Michael asks…

I want to run my house fully on solar power including AC’s?

6 indoor lights + 4 outdoor lights + 3 Fans + PC + Printer + TV +Wataer Pump + Wataer Heater.

admin answers:

You need to do a loads list that lists how many watts each of those components draw, and for how many hours a day. You also need to consider if any of them run on 220V instead of 110V (in the US), often the water heater and pump are 220V. You can do that on this calculator, http://www.altestore.com/store/calculators/load_calculator/. Once you know how many watt hours you need a day, you can enter it in the off-grid calculator at http://www.altestore.com/store/calculators/off_grid_calculator/.

Alternately, if you are buying electricity from the electric grid now, you can look at your electric bill and see how many kilowatt hours (kwh) a month you use, and divide it by 30 days to see how much you use a day. Then enter that number in the off-grid calculator.

If you do have access to the electric grid, it doesn’t make sense to disconnect from the grid, it is less expensive to continue with them, sell them any extra you make and buy back any more that you need. You would use them as your battery bank.

Also, and most importantly, instead of using solar electric to heat your water, you should get solar water heating instead of using electricity to heat it. It’s much more efficient and less expensive. You should also be using CFL or LED lights instead of regular incandescent lights. It’ll save you a fortune.

I want to run my house fully on solar power including AC’s?

10 energy savor bulbs (40w each)+15 tube lights (75 w each) + 8 outdoor lights (100 w each) + 8 Fans + 3 PC + Printer + 3 TV +Watar Pump + Wataer Heater + 5 ACs (1.5 ton each).

admin answers:

For most people solar energy can reduce electric consumption, but not entirely replace a connection to the grid.

Besides – solar is day time business only. You still need a connection to the grid for night time.

Daniel asks…

Can I use a generator indoors?

I have a solar powered shed I have 1x100watts solar panel and a 800ah battery bank I have my battery bank connected to a 4kw inverter the inverter converts 12 to 240 I have my inverter output connecinputmy imput of my consumer unit/breaker box the consumer unit powers my indoor and outdoor lighting and all my sockets and switches.so I wanted to connect my generator which is 2.2kw at 240.I need aTransfer switch which need designs (would appreciate if you can help on were to buy one)but the only problem is that the shed that I store my battery bank is a ventilated cupboard that is vented and I have been told that mixing fumes from generator is dangrus.but I do use the shed as a workshop so I can not have any gaseswhichh are gonna kill me so I was thinking ofputtingg the generator in the small shednext doorr to my workshop the only problem I have is the sheds are connected so fumes would enter my workshop and kill me and the generator does not have any excust fumes outlet it just isrealisess from the bottom of the unit so could i install the generator in acupboardd in the small shed with rubber coated walls to insulate the sound and i was thinking of cutting a 4inch hole and extracting the fumes with a extractor fan there would be two fans in total one venting in oxygen to keep generator working and cool and one venting fumes out would thisidear work

admin answers:

One of the biggest killers of people here in Texas, following a hurricane, is carbon monoxide from gas engine driven generator sets being operated indoors. Those are such useless deaths.

DON”T do it. Your exhaust system could fail and you may go to sleep and never wake up. Always operate a gas engine driven generator set in an outdoor well ventilated area. Die of old age, not carbon monoxide.

Betty asks…

Any chance these homeowners are wealthy Republicans?

Scarsdale, NY, where the average price tag for homes is $834,000, has “homeowner associations” that BAN such ecologically-positive things like solar panels.

Other HOAs around the country ban also ban solor collectors, and compost piles, window fans, outdoor clotheslines, window air conditioners, awnings on the front of the house, and VEGETABLE GARDENS.

Some HOA prohibit the use of outdoor wood furnaces and boilers, which have become extremely popular within the last couple decades.

HOA restrictions are part of a larger problem: the growing power of such “private governments” to control people’s use of their own property.

State legislatures are starting to rein in HOAs that try to ban environmentally responsible practices. At least 12 states have adopted laws that guarantee the right to erect solar equipment, although most of them permit HOAs to enforce “reasonable” conditions.

Comments? Reactions?
Dream on you cons…
I live in a fine home; I’m just not an overly-wealthy snob who thinks that environmentally responsible actions/equipment, etc. are “unsightly.”

And I’m not stupid enough to buy into one of those restricted, gated communities, anyway.

Around here, we use less energy by employing things like solar panels, heat sinks, clean burning outdoor boilers. We feed not only ourselves with our gardens, but we also provide the vegetables and prime rib for your conservative pie holes.

So, pipe down and get responsible. Dont rag to me about “liberals” who don’t work. We all work around here; and probably harder than you do.

admin answers:

Republican or Democrat, whether it’s eco-friendly initiatives or what color you can paint your shutters, I’ve NEVER EVER heard anybody say “gee, I’m sure glad to be in an HOA”.

These things are, at best, minor inconveniences, and at worst an unwelcome intrusion into your daily life. The most common response I hear from the few who defend them are “at least your neighbor can’t leave his junk 1957 pickup truck on his lawn.” You know what? I don’t CARE if my neighbor has a 1957 pickup truck on his lawn!!! I really don’t care!

Lizzie asks…

Converting my AC Air Conditioner to DC Motor make it anymore efficient with direct power from PV Panels?

I was curious if I rewired the AC motors on both the squirrel cage fan and outdoor unit to DC, and hooked solar panels directly to with battery backup, would that be anymore efficient than converting to AC?
Motors are motors. Most are designed to where you can merely take off the back service panel of the motor, and slip off the wire, and push it on opposite pole to make it dc. I use to do it all the time with swimming pool motors. This would save your the inverter inefficiency which is around 15%. I have seen the microinverters having about a 5% power loss. That’s about as good as it gets.

admin answers:

It really would not do you any good. The only power you’d save would be that which an inverter draws, and that’s minimal. We live off grid and I can tell you that running a central a/c unit with solar will be exceptionally costly to setup and maintain. We use wind and solar and batteries and have over $25,000 in our system and I could not power a 220-v a/c unit.
